And of course… ang pinaka main objective ko sa pagpunta sa D-Con is for me to make some of my favorite artists customize me a munny and sign some stuff. So Joe Ledbetter made me a 7” munny and he signed my Finders keepers toy and his book Creatures of Habit. (pruweba haha)
Angry Woebots made me a custom 4” munny (pruweba din haha)

Joe Ledbetter
If my art would be in a canvas or in a vinyl toy… it would look some kinda like JLed’s style (but of course his is way better). The first time I saw his paintings, i fell in love with it. His creatures might be simple but they tell a story, it has depth. I love the way he uses thick broad lines in his art. It brings out the “angas” sa mga gawa nya. Another thing that amazes me is that he can make his characters kinda like pop out or like embossed by his shadings, a real genius!
So more than being engulfed with his artworks, I stumbled upon his vinyl toy designs and i can’t describe how so excited I was to have them all ! grabe pero matagal na pala nilabas yung toys nya, nung 2007 pa, so malamang yung iba eh hina-haunting ko pa.. pero someday… I’ll have them.
Definitely Joe Ledbetter tops my favorites in Vinyl Toy Designs.

I finally got Joe Ledbetter’s Book called Creatures of Habit. Grabe angaling ng mga art prints nya as in!
I went to Kidrobot Store at Melrose again today to purchase the new DJ Lance Dunny. I also went to the Munky King just to look at the Plush You gallery that they’re having now and it was great!
Walking from the Kidrobot to the Munky King, i had to take a photo of one of Joe Ledbetter’s Magnus stickers (photo on top) scattered on one of the walls along the street… ( dahil fan talaga ako nya… hehe angbangis!)
