This is Filipino knock off on Huck Gee’s HELLO my name is Dunny a few years back. I wanted to do a Filipino touch on it. It also includes a “MONGOL” pencil instead of a Sharpie Pen from the original dunny. The mongol pencil is one of the basic writing and drawing materials of every kid in the Philippines.

If you’re anywhere near San Francisco this weekend, Baybayin.com will be at the annual PISTAHAN. They will also have , (besides other cool baybayin stuff, ) a custom toy show titled “Heritage and Heroes” which will be the the 1st Filipino themed custom toy show… and yes Two of my Custom Munny Pieces (photo seen here) are there. Finally i painted my 6” Munny! I was inspired to do a Munny figure (named Watawat) influenced by our Philippine flag. I also did a Dunny figure (named Banderitas) as his sidekick.
